Subway service down for portion of Line 2 Wednesday morning, TTC says
Subway service is shut down for a portion of Line 2 this morning due to a hydraulic fluid leak, the TTC says. Service is down between Kipling and Jane stations as of 5:34 a.m., the transit agency said in a post to X. Shuttle buses are running between the two stations. The shutdown is because a TTC work car leaked hydraulic fluid onto the track, which crews are in the process of cleaning, a TTC spokesperson said. This is the second day in a row the TTC has had service disruptions on one of its subway lines. On Wednesday morning, a chunk on Line 1 was shut down between Lawrence West and St. George stations for close to two hours. That service disruption was because additional time was needed to complete and clear overnight track work at St. Clair West station, a TTC spokesperson said.

Portion of Line 1 subway service down Wednesday morning, TTC says
Subway service is shut down for a portion of Line 1 this morning due to track work, the TTC says. Service is down between Lawrence West and St. George stations as of 7:15 a.m., the transit agency said in a post to X. Shuttle buses are running between the two stations. There are also delays between St. George and Finch, and customers may experience "longer than normal wait times" of up to 15 minutes, the transit agency said. The transit agency says there's currently no estimated time for when service will be restored. The service disruptions are due to overnight track work and "late clearing work" Wednesday morning, the transit agency said.
